As founder of Torchwerks, Ben has an unwavering passion for storytelling through moving image. Ben views each project as an opportunity to challenge himself and create an impression on the viewer. While process and production are important, he is a firm believer that creativity wins out and helps any size project live up to its potential.

Kelly comes to us from Los Angeles where he worked both in Production and Post-Production for shows on CBS, Discovery Channel, MTV, Travel Channel, G4, as well as several independent films. His editing approach has garnered him praise from celebrated Directors and fellow Editors. He believes that post-production is often a dance between visceral story-telling and meeting a deadline. You’ll find him advancing with the latest software and techniques as well as honing the tried and true methods of molding how a piece feels to an audience.

Whether acting as 2nd Unit on a large shoot, or taking control of an entire project, Kyle does it all. He is a natural problem solver, approaching every situation with a clear head. He has an incredible knowledge of gear and an insatiable thirst for improving his technique and skill-set. Flying in a helicopter, or flying his Steadicam, Kyle does whatever it takes to get the shot and loves every minute of it.

Jonathan Tvrdik hails from the world of digital advertising and film development. Filled with a deep and passionate love of cinema, Jon began his filmmaking career as a self-taught artist, pulling together crews of friends to create intimate and personal fiction narratives. Through continued experience and UCLA Film School training, Jonathan has since elevated his craft and now writes, directs and provides creative direction for a multitude of film and commercial projects for Torchwerks.

With a BS in interior design and working towards a MS from UNL, Kassi lends a fresh set of design skills to any project she is working on. Recently completing a design for a neighborhood grocery store, her aesthetic lies in the marriage of environmental and functional ideals. In addition to her education, Kassi has extensive work experience in horticulture and landscape design, and can often be found enjoying outdoor activities with her labrador companion, Oden.
